Slowly Sputtering into Essential Oils My “Feel Good” Blend

Hello Hello! Again, I am back. I have been gone a long time. This 2020 has been so frustrating and confusing and scary. But here we are and here I am. My focus is the same – Health and Wellbeing, Fermentation, Gluten Free, and Natural Remedies. I am always looking for natural ways to heal what ails me. I found something new. Let’s Get to the “Feel Good” Roller Bottle recipe 1st and then it will be story time:

“FEEL GOOD BLEND”

“I FEEL GOOD”
  • 10 Drops of Lemon Essential Oil
  • 15 Drops of Copaiba Essential Oil
  • 10 Drops of Lavender Essential Oil
  • 7 Drops of Peppermint Essential Oil
  • Enough Carrier oil to fill up the rest of the bottle (I use Fractionated Coconut Oil)

Use this blend by rolling it on your feet in the morning, on your neck, and on your pulse points. You should feel a cooling sensation from the peppermint, but also a sense of elevation and the aroma’s AND THE CHEMISTRY go to work on your BRAIN. I will get into the science of it all in later posts.

STORY TIME:

Let me tell you a story. Back in late February, I got really really sick. I was diagnosed with “Probable Influenza B” – but who knows. All I know was that I was on the couch and stuck there for what I thought would be weeks – I mean, I was S I C K. My head hurt, I had a fever, every joint, every bone, my WHOLE body was in pain. I had a dry cough that would have me practically paralyzed. UGH! It was awful. So awful, I did a video about it called “Karen’s PSA” urging parents, adults, folks in general to not go to work, or send your children to school if they were feeling sick. And now, we know WHY that is true with this current pandemic.

Healing did come. But it really only came after a friend of mine introduced me to a line of essential oils. Sure, I had a whole drawer full of oils I got from the drug store or (God Forbid) Walmart (YIKES!). But, most of them had gone rancid – which is a sign that they are not “pure”. My friend introduced me to dōTERRA (Gift of the Earth) Essential Oils. And I have not looked back since.

What I received was a roller bottle of a homemade blend of F.L.O.O.M. – (Frankincense, Lemon, “On Guard”, Oregano, and Melaleuca, or tea tree oil), and a bottle of “On Guard” Beadlets. Within hours I was feeling better. I rolled the F.L.O.O.M. on my feet and on my neck. I popped a few “On Guard” Beadlets in my mouth and it amazed me. I had this cooling feeling throughout my core and felt the aches going away. I kept doing this for the next 3 days and suddenly I felt a new sense of vitality. On the 4th day, I woke up feeling …. (wait for it)…. RESTED.

Everyday since then has been better. If I do have a down day, I think to myself “There’s an oil for that”. And it seems to be true. But I find, I only need the 4 oils above to keep me calm, cool, collected and HEALTHY.

More to come sooner than later. Thank you for your patience.
